The Role

  • Lead client engagements providing strategic advice on stamp duty and state taxes for major transactions, property developments, M&A, and infrastructure projects
  • Oversee and develop a team of Senior Managers, Consultants and Analysts
  • Drive growth of the Sydney practice while collaborating nationally with Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth teams
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships and support business development initiatives
  • Partner with senior leadership on strategy and positioning for future Partnership

About You

  • Extensive experience in stamp duty, state taxes or related indirect tax matters
  • Background in leading professional services, accounting, legal firms or government revenue bodies
  • Proven ability to manage complex matters end-to-end and deliver clear, commercial advice
  • Strong leadership skills with a history of developing and mentoring teams
  • Commercially minded with the ability to grow client relationships and new business opportunities
  • Strategic ambition with Partnership in mind
