About the Role

This is an outstanding opportunity for a senior nurse with proven leadership experience in a day surgery or hospital setting. You will play a key role in managing clinical operations, maintaining compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards (e.g. NSQHS), and ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day nursing and clinical operations
  • Maintain and improve clinical governance and patient safety
  • Lead accreditation processes and ensure ongoing compliance
  • Support staff development, rostering, and resource allocation
  • Collaborate closely with surgeons and administrative staff

About You

  • Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration
  • Previous experience as a DON or in a senior nursing leadership role
  • Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare accreditation and licensing (e.g. ACHS or ISO standards)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills
  • A collaborative, approachable, and organised professional
