Green Beacon is one of Brisbane's original and most-loved craft breweries. We are passionate about two things: incredible beer and creating fantastic food to match. Our bustling venue is known for its vibrant atmosphere, and our kitchen is at the heart of that experience.

We are currently looking for a passionate and reliable Casual Chef to join our kitchen team. Reporting to the Head Chef, you will play a key role in delivering a high-quality, modern brewery menu that keeps our regulars coming back and wows our new visitors.

What you'll be doing:

  • Assisting the Head Chef in all aspects of kitchen operations, from prep to service.
  • Ensuring every dish that leaves our kitchen is consistent and meets our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment in line with food safety standards.
  • Contributing to a positive and collaborative team culture.

Who we're looking for:

  • Proven experience in a similar role in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • A genuine passion for fresh ingredients and quality food.
  • Strong knife skills and a solid understanding of various cooking methods.
  • The ability to remain calm and work efficiently under pressure.
  • A positive, can-do attitude and a strong work ethic.
  • Flexibility and availability to work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends.
