About the job

We're looking for a Senior Executive Assistant to join our Melbourne, Sydney, or Brisbane team.

When you work for us, you get the chance to join nearly 50,000 people all driven by a common purpose – delivering a more sustainable world. We're excited about the challenges ahead. If you ask us, there's never been a more rewarding time to work in the energy, chemical and resources sectors.

We offer a flexible approach to working, because our people are safer, healthier, and more productive when they can balance work with life. That's why we offer flexible and hybrid working options, so you can choose when, where and how you work.

As a Senior Executive Assistant, you will support our Chief People Officer, along with three senior leaders. This is a high-trust, high-impact role for someone who's confident working independently, can adapt quickly to changing priorities, and enjoys streamlining processes and improving how things get done.

This position can be based in either Melbourne, Sydney, or Brisbane. While flexible work is part of our culture, in-office presence will be required 2-3 days each week. This role is a fixed term 12 month contract covering maternity leave.

Who we are

Worley is a global professional services company of energy, chemicals and resources experts headquartered in Australia.

Right now, we're bridging two worlds as we accelerate to more sustainable energy sources, while helping our customers provide the energy, chemicals and resources that society needs now.

We partner with our customers to deliver projects and create value over the life of their portfolio of assets. We solve complex problems by finding integrated data-centric solutions from the first stages of engineering and consulting to the last stages of installation and commissioning.

Join us and help drive innovation and sustainability in our projects.

What you'll do

We are looking for a Senior Executive Assistant to join our team in Melbourne, Sydney, or Brisbane.

The role responsibilities include:

  • Work in an autonomous environment dealing with confidential and sensitive information.
  • Manage calendars and inboxes with care and foresight, helping to prioritise time and reduce duplication.
  • Draft agendas and drive the Fortnightly People Leadership call.
  • Provide agile, responsive support to Executives, often in a fast-moving and reactive environment.
  • Coordinate meetings, workshops, and events – internally and externally – ensuring every detail is covered.
  • Arrange complex domestic and international travel, including accommodation, visas, hire cars, and navigating regional regulations.
  • Manage expense reconciliation, timecard creation and processing supplier tax invoices.
  • Prepare and format reports, correspondence, presentations, agendas, and minutes in line with brand and confidentiality standards.
  • Maintain up-to-date organisational charts and ensure documents are stored securely.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and the EA network to ensure smooth process.

What you'll have

  • Demonstrated experience in an Executive Assistant role, ideally within a similar industry or global business environment.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset – you're someone who anticipates needs and acts without being asked.
  • High proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and a comfort level with using digital tools and platforms.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills – clear, professional, and able to represent leaders internally and externally.
  • A reputation for discretion, reliability, and being someone others can rely on.
  • An interest in continuous improvement, with a natural drive to find better, more efficient ways to get things done.

Why you should apply

  • Flexible work arrangements including work from home, compressed work weeks, flexible hours.
  • Employee benefits including salary continuance insurance, novated leasing, shopping discounts.
  • Paid parental leave program.
  • Ability to purchase additional leave.

Moving forward together

We want our people to be energized and empowered to drive sustainable impact. So, our focus is on a values-inspired culture that unlocks brilliance through belonging, connection and innovation.

We're building a diverse, inclusive and respectful workplace. Creating a space where everyone feels they belong, can be themselves, and are heard.

And we're not just talking about it; we're doing it. We're reskilling our people, leveraging transferable skills, and supporting the transition of our workforce to become experts in today's low carbon energy infrastructure and technology.

Whatever your ambition, there's a path for you here. And there's no barrier to your potential career success.
