What we are looking for:

We are looking for a Lead GCP Data Engineer to join our team and work alongside a leading Australian organisation.

Initial 6 month contract + extensions. Sydney based, hybrid with 2 days per week in the office.

Skills/experience required:

  • 7-10+ Years data engineering experience
  • Experience leading teams of 3-5 engineers
  • In-depth Google Cloud Platform (GCP) experience
  • 3-4+ Years in-depth Python programming experience
  • 3-4+ Years in-depth SQL experience (design patterns and strategies for processing data)
  • Docker experience
  • Experience with Terraform 
  • CICD experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
