Job Description

The position of Associate Director - Data Engineering is a crucial role within our organization, responsible for leading our data engineering team to design and deliver innovative data-focused projects for a globally distributed client base.

We are committed to ensuring our clients maximize the value of their data by designing and building modern data platforms, engineering data-powered software applications and products, and enabling data-driven business use-cases.

This full-time role based in Sydney involves partnering with New Business and Client Partners throughout the pre-sales, sales, and account management process. The successful candidate will respond to client requirements, identify opportunities for client success and continual improvement through data, and leverage consulting and engineering expertise.

">About the Role
  • Technical leadership across consulting, architecture, integration, and software delivery engagements.
  • Mentoring and leading technical teams, including Technical Leads.
  • Staying current with core relevant technologies and concepts that apply to modern data platforms and data-driven use-cases.
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with Vendor Partners (AWS, GCP, Confluent, Lightbend, Immuta, Databricks).

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Partner with internal and external engineering teams to drive technical excellence.
  2. Mentor and lead technical teams to achieve project goals.
  3. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends.
  4. Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with key vendors.

Technology Experience
