Job Description

We are seeking a talented Data Engineer to join our team. As a Data Engineer, you will play a key role in enabling data-driven decision-making at our organization.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining our data warehouse, designing scalable data models, and managing ETL pipelines. This is an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills and experience in data engineering to drive impact in a values-led organization working to regenerate nature and protect the planet.

As a Data Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of technologies, including Google BigQuery, SQL, Python, and dbt. Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable data models using SQL and dbt
  • Develop and manage ETL pipelines using GCP-native tools and Python
  • Build and maintain a high-performing data warehouse in Google BigQuery
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Advanced experience with SQL (BigQuery and PostgreSQL preferred), Python, database management, ETL processes, data modelling (dbt) and preparing datasets for AI/ML applications
  • Expertise with core GCP services such as BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Cloud Functions (or similar services on other platforms such as AWS or Azure)
  • Hand-on experience working with CDPs such as the Salesforce Data Cloud
