About the role

This full-time Sales Assistant role with SEQ Landscape Supplies' offers an exciting opportunity to join a leading provider of landscaping materials and supplies in Stapylton, QLD. As a Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and assisting customers with their landscaping product needs.

What you'll be doing

  • Providing knowledgeable and friendly customer service to both retail and trade customers
  • Assisting customers in selecting the appropriate landscaping products and materials to meet their requirements
  • Accurately processing sales transactions, including cash handling and inventory management
  • Maintaining a clean and organised retail space to ensure a positive customer experience
  • Supporting the team with general warehouse duties as required
  • Ability to perform moderate lifting as part of warehouse support duties

What we're looking for

  • No previous experience in a customer-facing retail or sales role required, some experience within the landscaping or building industry a bonus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Basic numeracy and cash handling skills
  • A team-oriented approach and the ability to work collaboratively
  • Enthusiasm for the landscaping and home improvement industry
  • Australian work rights are required for this position
