About the Company
Our commercial client operates nationally, providing services globally. They are currently undertaking an ambitious large-scale project to overhaul their payroll operations and require the expertise of a specialist who knows their way around a spreadsheet
and
a system upgrade. This is your chance to join a company that values excellence, celebrates innovation, and gets serious things done (with a bit of cheeky fun on the side).
You'll be joining a tight-knit, high-performing project team that truly touches every part of the business. It will be fast, complex, and never boring
About the Role
You'll be the go-to problem-solver for complex payroll challenges, helping to modernise and future-proof systems through:
· Deep-dive data and process analysis
· Designing and documenting new payroll system states
· Collaborating with cross-functional SMEs to nail requirements and roll out changes
· Producing slick, high-quality documentation that tells the full story-from "as is" to "nailed it"
· Contributing to transformation projects (think enterprise agreements and continuous improvement)
About You
· Extensive payroll experience within a medium-to-large business
· Experience with testing payroll systems
· Sharp communicator who loves a good challenge and knows how to read an EA like a novel
· Experience interpreting complex data and delivering process change
· Experience with Power BI or other dashboard tools
· Understanding of payroll integrations and time & attendance systems
The Benefits
Joining this project isn't just another job-it's a chance to make real impact in a high-profile, enterprise-level environment while enjoying some serious benefits:
· 12-Month Fixed Term Contract - With full leave entitlements (yes, you still get your holidays and sick leave like any permanent employee)
· Salary up to $150,000 + Super
· Hybrid Flexibility - Work 2 days a week from home
· Prime city location - the offices are perfectly placed, with easy access to trains, buses, the ferry and great coffee
· Big-Name Brand, Big-Time Project - Contribute to a major transformation in a national brand with over 5,000 employees.
