In this role, you'll support our Chartwells division, providing strategic and financial leadership that directly contributes to delivering excellence in some of Australia's most unique and challenging environments.

The Role

  • Lead and develop a high-performing commercial team while driving continuous improvement initiatives
  • Oversee end-of-month processes, management reporting, and financial analysis to drive business performance
  • Provide actionable financial reporting and analysis to support decision-making and value creation
  • Assist with contract retention, compliance, and the implementation of streamlined processes
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and multi-year plans to ensure financial alignment with strategic objectives
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders, offering commercial guidance and influencing senior management decisions
  • Prepare business cases, conduct cost-benefit analyses, and support innovation initiatives

The Person

  • 5 years' experience in a relevant commercial or financial role
  • Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with financial systems (e.g., Oracle, BI reporting tools)
  • Proven experience managing large and complex budgets
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships
  • Proven leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and empower a team
