Do you have pre-press/finished artist skills and are looking for a short term position?

We are looking for a maternity leave cover for a minimum of six months and up to twelve months within our art team.

About the role….

  • you will receive instructions in relation to new print jobs and liaise both internally and externally to resolve issues and clarify customer requirements
  • ensure any supplied art meets our required resolution and size specifications
  • prepare proofs (including superimposed images when required) and re-proof where required
  • on occasion, undertake creative design for customised work or create from pre-existing templates
  • prepare print ready files including image manipulation, file formatting and checking print medium
  • send artwork to production
  • create Photoshop 'mock ups' for clients as required

About you….

  • minimum 12 months in a similar role
  • solid pre-press skills/experience required for this role which include an understanding of artwork-to-print production
  • experience with large format files is highly desirable as is experience within the signage industry
  • excellent time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • great attention to detail
  • computer literacy and up to date knowledge of industry software including: - Adobe, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat Professional
  • creative flair
  • you are enthusiastic with a strong willingness to learn with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
