About the role:

The Sales Team Leader is responsible for leading and motivating the Kitomba sales team, ensuring they are well supported in achieving sales targets and meeting and exceeding their own personal sales targets.

We are seeking a Sales Team Leader who has an enduring passion for sales and the initiative and drive to achieve their best every day. Someone who loves seeing how their initiative and drive to win, can really contribute to driving the business to achieve more and more success. A natural leader, your passion for sales and business will naturally motivate and encourage your team to achieve their sales goals and see them grow in their careers and professional life too.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Mentor, coach, and equip sales team members to achieve great results.
  • Lead the team by setting goals and coordinating / prioritising workload.
  • Work with senior management to set annual sales targets/KPIs.
  • Maintain oversight of all sales activities and performance.
  • Drive team results to achieve and exceed revenue targets by proactively managing, shaping, and influencing performance.
  • Measure sales performance in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Build and maintain effective and mutually beneficial relationships with key industry partners and customers.
  • Promote the values and behaviours expected of the business at all times.

The skills you'll need

  • Exceptional sales skills, strong negotiation skills and ability to drive and close deals.
  • A natural leader, skilled in mentoring and leading sales teams to achieve their best.
  • Love of technology and experience selling software solutions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong ability to handle pressure, targets and ensure delivery.
