As our Sales Team Leader, you won't just oversee the sales process, you'll be hands-on in guiding, coaching, and motivating our Sales Representatives to connect with families in a way that's genuine, helpful, and results-driven. You'll refine our sales approach, keep the team firing on all cylinders, and ensure every family feels confident and cared for as they begin their journey with us.

Who are weWe empower students and their studies by providing an ecosystem of highly effective tutoring, resources and support. We run weekly small-group tutoring sessions, presented by young and experienced tutors that teach in a simple, intuitive and engaging way. We also supplement these sessions with weekly workshops, complimentary 1-on-1 support and a learning portal with a comprehensive suite of resources and practice material to help students master their subjects.
Over 8,000 students and 300+ team members have joined Contour since our founding in the beginning of 2020. What you'll doAs the Sales Team Leader at Contour Education, you'll lead a motivated team in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, primarily focused on warm and hot leads. Your role will be a mix of leadership, coaching, and strategic improvement to ensure the team achieves and exceeds enrolment targets while providing an exceptional experience for every family.
- Lead & Inspire: Mentor Sales Representatives daily, offering coaching, support, and feedback to develop skills and build confidence.
- Drive Sales Success: Guide the team in converting enquiries into enrolments through a student-first approach that's warm, clear, and solutions-focused.
- Streamline Processes: Collaborate with Operations to ensure the tools, systems, and workflows are efficient and easy to use.
- Track & Report: Monitor sales activity, report progress to the General Manager, and adjust strategies based on feedback and results.
- Foster Collaboration: Work closely with other leaders to align efforts across departments and maintain a consistent, high-quality family experience.
Working hours span weekdays from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM and weekends from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Ongoing professional development is supported, and high achievers have strong career growth pathways within our leadership team.

Minimum 2–3 years' experience in sales, with proven results in achieving or exceeding targets.
Experience mentoring, coaching, or leading others in a sales environment.
- Understanding of the sales funnel, buyer psychology, and persuasive communication to drive trial-to-enrolment conversions.
Passionate about helping students and parents feel supported from first contact to enrolment.
Leadership-ready, with an interest in developing people and improving processes.
Organised but adaptable, able to manage multiple priorities.
Long-term mindset, committed to contributing to Contour's vision and growth.
Ability to commit to full-time hours (38 hours per week).
Willingness to work evenings and weekends.
Able to travel to Melbourne CBD.
- Past VCE graduate (preferred, but not essential for exceptional candidates).
Above market rate compensation.
