About YOU…

We are seeking someone with a can-do and hands-on approach that loves being immersed in the detail. Each day will be unique, presenting with different challenges and opportunities.

The initial focus of this role will be assisting with the preparation of Balance Sheets, Profit Loss and other management reports as required. You will be integral in general ledger maintenance and balance sheet reconciliations. You will assist with the preparation of annual financial statements, statutory accounts and general journals. Preparation of cash flow reports will keep you busy while also focusing on tax compliance (including FBT returns, GST, BAS and income tax returns).

Your strengths are your attention to detail working in a methodical and accurate manner. You have a passion for quality and an ability to multi-task. You possess strong stakeholder engagement skills and are a collaborative team player. This role will require a flexible individual that is able to manage deadlines.

The Essentials...

To be considered it is essential that you are CA/CPA (or equivalent) qualified with excellent technical skills. You would currently be working in a similar role, ideally in the retail sector or you may be working in a mid-tier chartered accounting firm either in business services or external audit.
