We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team in the fast-paced world of foreign currency remittance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with partners and clients, and driving revenue growth. You will play a key role in expanding our market presence and improving service delivery for individual and corporate clients seeking secure and efficient international money transfer solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Market Expansion: Identify and develop new markets, customer segments, and business opportunities locally and internationally.

  • Client Acquisition & Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with retail and corporate clients, financial institutions, and channel partners.

  • Strategic Partnerships: Identify and negotiate with agents, affiliates, and white-label partners to build a strong agent and partner network.

  • Sales & Revenue Growth: Drive sales and revenue targets through effective sales strategies, promotions, and campaigns.

  • Compliance & Regulation: Work with internal teams to ensure all activities are in compliance with international remittance regulations (e.g., AML/KYC guidelines).

  • Market Analysis: Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and customer needs.

  • Reporting: Provide regular sales and performance reports to senior management, including forecasts, pipeline updates, and strategic recommendations.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.

  • 3–5 years of experience in business development, preferably within remittance, banking, fintech, or financial services.

  • Strong understanding of the foreign exchange/remittance market, international payments, and financial regulations.

  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse, cross-functional team.

  • Must be fluent in verbal and written Chinese (Mandarin).
