About the role
Based in Sydney and reporting to the National Manager Independent Groups & Wholesalers, you will drive profitable sales and long-term growth through strategic joint business plans and customer-focused strategies
Build strong relationships with key stakeholders at state and national levels to enhance partnerships. Maximise customer and category performance while optimizing trade revenue.
Foster collaboration across internal teams for seamless execution. Represent equity and principal partner brands to drive profitable results aligned with business and customer objectives.
Key Responsibilities include
· Lead the customer joint business plan, engaging all stakeholders to drive aligned growth strategies.
· Manage the customer scorecard, tracking performance and implementing action plans to address challenges.
· Oversee brand owner relationships, ensuring timely customer reviews and execution of action plans.
· Engage and influence key internal stakeholders and touchpoints involved in account management, ensuring clear communication of plans to deliver a unified and consistent message to the customer.
· Align supply collaboration processes and medium-to-long-term forecasts across banners.
· Drive promotional planning in line with category and pricing strategies.
· Leverage consumer insights to influence category growth and develop customer-focused solutions.
· Monitor sales performance, manage trade spend budgets, and optimize revenue through data-driven strategies.
About you
You have a proven track record in managing key strategic accounts within the liquor or grocery sectors, with strong negotiation skills, and the ability to leverage consumer insights and category data to drive sales. Your experience in forecasting, demand planning, and logistics within an FMCG environment ensures you can navigate complex supply chain operations effectively.
A natural problem solver, you thrive in fast-paced environments, demonstrating resiience and a commitment to meeting customer needs and deadlines. Your ability to communicate confidently with internal and external stakeholder groups, combined with strong relationship-building and influencing skills, makes you a valued partner. Tertiary qualifications in Business or Commerce are desirable, and liquor industry experience will be highly regarded.
