About the Role
The Events Officer will play an important role in supporting Swinburne's marketing campaigns and delivering prospective student recruitment events that help achieve the University's goals. Reporting to the Senior Manager, University Events, you will work closely with the Future Students and Marketing team, the Communications and Media team, and various schools and departments across the University.
In this role, you will contribute to the development and implementation of marketing activities designed to attract prospective students and ensure the successful delivery of recruitment events. You will be comfortable working with a wide range of people and building positive, collaborative relationships to achieve shared objectives.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive events professional with 1-2+ years of experience to deliver impactful student recruitment events that drive engagement and attract future students.
About You
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:
- Proven ability to support clients, stakeholders and business partners
- Proven experience in event management
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with audio/video production, video editing and copywriting and familiar with the use of Zoom and/or MS Teams Events for day-to-day work and webinar production

Qualifications
Qualification in events, communications or marketing or a related field; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
