YOUR ROLE

We are seeking an experienced General Manager, Contract Logistics Operations to lead our NSW portfolio, spanning several sites across Western and Eastern Sydney.

Reporting to the Vice President, Contract Logistics Pacific, this role provides strategic and operational leadership across a diverse network of warehousing and on-site customer operations. You'll drive safety, service excellence, customer satisfaction and commercial results while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation and performance.

This is a pivotal opportunity for a people-centred leader who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments and is passionate about delivering operational excellence at scale.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Specifically, you will:

Provide strategic and operational leadership across seven CEVA sites in Western and Eastern SydneyChampion Zero Harm and lead HSE culture, compliance and risk management across all operationsDrive operational excellence through consistent standards, labour optimisation and service qualityOwn the full P&L, delivering revenue, cost and productivity targets across the NSW portfolioBuild strong relationships with key customers, governing performance through SLAs, QBRs and NPSLead and develop a diverse team of Site and Contract Managers, fostering engagement and capabilityManage contract governance, pricing discipline, risk and commercial performancePartner with Business Development and Solution Design to mobilise new sites and transitionsCollaborate with HR, Finance, QHSE, Property and Ground Transport to align plans and deliver on commitmentsIdentify and implement continuous improvement and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Our ideal candidate is an accomplished logistics leader with a track record of delivering results across complex, multi-site warehousing operations. You will also have:

Extensive leadership experience in contract logistics or large-scale warehousing with full P&L accountabilityProven ability to lead through others across multiple locations and customer environmentsStrong commercial and financial acumen with a focus on performance improvement and cost-to-serveDemonstrated success in building and maintaining senior customer relationshipsExcellent people leadership, influencing and communication skillsA tertiary qualification in logistics, business, engineering or a related disciplineA collaborative, outcomes-driven approach with genuine passion for safety and operational excellence.

In addition to providing proof of work rights and suitable professional referees, progressed candidates will be required to undergo a medical assessment and national police check.
