You will be responsible for the overall performance of an operational account, including overall responsibility for a pre-agreed contract within a site in order to achieve all agreed financial + operational objectives.
- To manage, plan, organize, staff, and direct warehouse activities at the site ensuring that all material + equipment is available/maintained to support your operations
 - To achieve your key performance indicators (KPI) in the areas of cost management, productivity, customer service + profit.
 - To ensure your teams deliver against their customer, site and people key performance indicators (KPI).
 - To assist with all activities relating to customer on-boarding, retention + operational excellence; collaborating at a contract level.
 - To drive productivity via engagement activities to create new initiatives focusing on continuous improvement at all times, ensuring your contract(s) meets or exceeds their productivity targets.
 - To contribute information required for tenders/proposals to support closing of new business.
 - To prepare + present all required customer updates.
 - To prepare required P+L with supporting commentary related to financial / service variances.
 - To train + develop your team to ensure robust succession planning.
 - To liaise with internal support resources + external providers (carriers, freight forwarders, suppliers).
 
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in logistics, supply chain, or freight forwarding operations
 - Proven ability to manage operational performance for assigned key accounts
 - Strong understanding of freight processes, including import/export, compliance, and service delivery
 - Experience conducting business reviews, analyzing KPIs, and presenting performance insights
 - Skilled in customer relationship management and maintaining long-term client partnerships
 - Ability to develop and maintain SOPs, ensuring consistency across regional and national teams
 - Proficient in data analysis, reporting tools (Excel, Power BI), and process documentation
 - Demonstrated success in continuous improvement initiatives and operational optimization
 - Capable of supporting RFQ responses, rate management, and implementation projects
 - Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills across internal and external teams
 - Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities
 - Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment with global exposure
 - Willingness to travel as required for client meetings and operational oversight
