The Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our Omnichannel Fulfilment team in Marsden Park, NSW. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and capable leader to oversee daily warehouse operations and drive customer-centric logistics solutions in a dynamic environment.

You'll play a critical role in developing and executing operational strategies, managing a high-performing team, and ensuring our warehouse operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management

• Lead and supervise daily warehouse floor operations
• Manage order fulfilment across multiple storage locations within tight timeframes
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to provide seamless logistics solutions
• Ensure optimal manpower planning to meet productivity, accuracy, and customer KPIs
• Investigate operational issues, implement corrective actions, and monitor improvements
• Ensure compliance with all Maersk policies, safety standards, and legal regulations

Team Leadership & Development

• Define work procedures and performance standards for the team
• Assign and oversee tasks to ensure timely execution
• Monitor progress, provide performance feedback, and identify training needs
• Coach and mentor team members to support their professional development
• Foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture
• Manage disciplinary matters in partnership with HR and management
• Support other ad hoc duties as assigned by leadership

Who We're Looking For

• A bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in a contract logistics environment
• Experience managing a sizable team, including both direct hires and contractors
• Industry exposure to grocery retail and/or FMCG is highly preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to lead diverse teams
• Results-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently under pressure
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Willingness to work on a rotating shift schedule
