Northeast Health Wangaratta (NHW) is the major health provider in the Central Hume region with an extensive range of acute, sub-acute, aged care and community services.

NHW have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Administration Assistant to join the Support Services Division, on permanent part time contract. Focus of this role is to provide Administrative Support to our Accommodations functions.

We are looking for people with sound clerical and computer skills, excellent interpersonal skills and who has the ability to work independently in a busy environment to join our Support Services Team. The ability to work as a team member is required. Applicants will need to be able to work across a five-day Monday to Friday Roster.

The Support Services Division is inclusive of the following departments, allowing for exiting opportunities and support in a range of disciplines: Food Services, Environmental, Supply, Security, Accommodation, Administrative & Clerical. Our Region:

  • Wangaratta has a population of approximately 30,000 and our catchment serves a community of around throughout the northeast.
  • An easy 2 ½ hours drive on the Hume freeway from Melbourne and less than an hour to Albury airport with direct flights to most of the large Australian cities.
  • We have over 11 schools including private Catholic and Anglican schooling options for pre-year 12.
