About The Opportunity
We have a fantastic opportunity for an
Intermediate Accountant
to thrive in our
Belmont (WA)
office as part of our
Business Team
, with great clients, innovative systems, and a friendly culture.

You will work closely with your Manager and Director to build the experience, exposure, and knowledge needed to progress your career. Our dedicated
Training Manager
will
guide and support you
, ensuring you get the best possible start at Byfields.

Skills
This role suits someone confident in their accounting skills, focused on accuracy, and motivated by client success. You'll handle a mix of tax compliance and business advisory tasks in a supportive, process-driven environment and can expect to:

• Collaborate and thrive as part of a strong, supportive team that shares knowledge and workload to deliver excellence together
• Take ownership of preparing accurate financial statements, BAS and tax returns that showcase your expertise
• Gain exposure to a variety of clients and businesses while sharpening your technical skills
• Collaborate with a supportive, client-focused team that inspires your best work every day
• Be part of a culture that values excellence, passion, and commitment to delivering outstanding client service
• Work autonomously to meet deadlines, and take pride in delivering high-quality outcomes
• Work alongside experienced professionals to uncover insights into tax planning in practice.

Who We're Looking For
We want to hear from you if you have:

• Prior Public Practice experience essential
• CA/CPA underway or planning to start soon
• Excellent attention to detail and a results-driven approach
• Strong Australian tax knowledge and compliance expertise
• A team-focused mindset with clear, professional communication
• Ambition to grow and advance within a supportive, growing firm
• 2+ years' experience (preferred) or the skills and motivation to match
• Excellent time management skills and a reliable and results-driven approach
• A passion for delivering outstanding service to clients across various industries
