SCAFFOLD MANAGER

Bowen is located at the northern end of the Whitsunday region.  Schools (Prep to Grade 12), hospital, shopping centres and sports clubs ensure you are covered for all the amenities you will need.  However, you are also a short drive to Townsville, Mackay and Airlie Beach.

BIH is a well-respected and busy company based in Bowen.  We specialise in providing services to the Mining, Industrial, Commercial, Ports and Residential businesses from North Queensland, and the Bowen Coal Basin.

Must have Skills and Experience:

  • Ability to schedule personnel to ensure client needs are met
  • Excellent time management
  • Client liaison and communication with all related personnel (eg – administration)
  • Exemplary adherence to all HSEQ policies and procedures
  • Ability to pre-plan and think ahead to meet business and client needs
  • Control the day-to-day pressure of employee management and their requirements
  • Minimum 5 years scaffold experience
  • Excellent safety record and knowledge of SWMS
  • Advantageous, but not essential – Coal Board Medical, Working at Heights, Confined Space, Standard 11, Riggers and/or Doggers tickets, Supervisors certification
