We're growing fast and are on the lookout for an experienced Senior Detailer or Detailing Supervisor to join our passionate 20-person detailing team (Manager, Supervisors, Detailers & Support). This is a chance to step into a leadership or mentoring role with real impact.

The Role:

You'll play a key role in producing high-quality 3D steel frame models using Vertex BD, collaborating with our production and construction teams to deliver accurate, buildable, and efficient designs.

This is a full-time position based in South East Queensland – we value face-to-face collaboration with our team at Carole Park.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Creating 3D steel frame models from architectural plans using Vertex BD

  • Providing guidance and mentorship to junior team members

  • Reviewing and coordinating detailing outputs for manufacturing and site

  • Working with builders, internal stakeholders, and production to resolve design queries

Desired Skills and Experience

We are seeking candidates with a minimum of 2 plus years of experience in detailing light gauge steel structures. This experience is considered a valuable asset for this role and will be a key factor in evaluating candidates.

1. Proficiency in Vertex CAD Software: Strong familiarity with Vertex CAD software is highly regarded for this role.

2. Architectural Drawing Interpretation: Ability to analyse and interpret architectural 2D drawings accurately is essential to excel in this position.

3. Construction Knowledge: A solid understanding of construction terminology and building practices is crucial for effective communication and collaboration on projects.

4. Teamwork and Communication: Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively within a team and communicate ideas clearly is vital to facilitate efficient project management and meet set deadlines.

5. Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail is required to ensure the accurate and precise detailing of steel structures, minimising errors and ensuring structural integrity.
