We have an immediate vacancy for a Permanent Full Time Dental Clinic Assistant to join our Dental Health Services (DHS) team.

What is our Dental Clinic Assistant role?
This position provides dental clinic assistance in accordance with relevant procedures and policies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing routine and advanced levels of care.

This position is Perth-based in John Butler Dental Therapy Centre with travel to other dental centres in Jurien Bay, Badgingarra, Lancelin, Gingin, Bindoon, Moora, and Leeman. Accommodation and allowances are paid whilst working away from John Butler and staff are able to return to Perth on weekends.

DHS is part of the North Metropolitan Health Service (NMHS) and is the largest public dental health services provider in WA, operating state-wide from a network of fixed and mobile clinics, funded by the WA Government. DHS provides the School Dental Service for children aged 5-16 years, General Dental Services to eligible adults with a current health care card or pension concession card, Subsidy Schemes and Special Dental Services.

Eligibility to Apply:

Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.
