About the role

Zeekr Centre Brisbane is seeking an experienced Mechanical and Technicial Specialist for Electric Cars to join our team in Kedron, Queensland. This full-time role is crucial in supporting the maintenance and repair of our state-of-the-art electric vehicle fleet, ensuring our customers receive exceptional service and support.

What you'll be doing

  1. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electric vehicles, including diagnostics, servicing, and addressing mechanical issues
  2. Liaise with customers to understand their concerns and provide expert technical advice
  3. Stay up-to-date with the latest electric vehicle technologies and industry best practices
  4. Assist with the installation and troubleshooting of electric vehicle charging systems
  5. Collaborate with the wider team to continuously improve our service delivery
  6. Maintain detailed records and documentation of all work performed

What we're looking for

  1. Proven experience as a mechanical or electrical technician, ideally with a focus on electric vehicles
  2. Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and repair complex issues
  3. Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate technical information in a clear and concise manner
  4. Passion for the automotive industry and a keen interest in the latest electric vehicle technologies
  5. Relevant qualifications or certifications in automotive mechanics or electrical engineering
  6. A positive, team-oriented attitude and a commitment to continuous learning
