About the role

As a Car Detailer for their Car Yard at Australian Mechanical in Belmont, QLD, you will play a vital role in presenting the pristine appearance of vehicles to be put to market. This position involves the meticulous cleaning, polishing, and detailing of cars, ensuring they meet the highest standards of presentation.

What you'll be doing

  1. Thorough interior and exterior cleaning of vehicles, including vacuuming, shampooing, and polishing
  2. Removing stains, scuffs, and other imperfections to restore the vehicle's showroom condition
  3. Applying protective coatings and sealants to maintain the vehicle's finish
  4. Ensuring all work is completed to the highest quality standards
  5. Providing exceptional communication throughout the detailing process
  6. Maintaining a clean and organised work environment

What we're looking for

  1. Proven experience as a Car Detailer or in a similar automotive detailing role
  2. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
  3. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients
  4. A positive attitude and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
  5. Basic mechanical knowledge and the ability to identify and report any issues with the vehicles
  6. A valid driver's licence and the ability to safely operate various detailing equipment
