Brisbane City Used Cars is currently seeking a qualified and motivated Reconditioning Mechanic to lead our Reconditioning Operations & Service Centre (ROSC) team.

This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for a skilled technician with experience in the used car space who can ensure vehicles are reconditioned to a high standard efficiently and safely ready for retail.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Leading the reconditioning process for used vehicle inventory
  • Diagnosing and performing mechanical repairs and servicing
  • Coordinating repair timelines to meet sales readiness deadlines
  • Conducting thorough vehicle inspections and road tests
  • Liaising with sales and service teams on reconditioning priorities
  • Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and dealership standards

What We're Looking For:

  • Qualified Automotive Technician (Cert III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent)
  • Previous experience in used vehicle reconditioning is essential
  • Strong diagnostic and repair skills across a range of makes and models
  • Proven ability to manage workflow and work unsupervised
  • A high standard of workmanship and attention to detail
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Roadworthy License
