The Finance Admin Officer will support our clients Financial Accounting team by managing booking processes and reviewing accounts payable transactions. This role involves liaising with internal teams and vendors, and ensuring financial data accuracy over a 6-month contract.

Description

  • Provide administrative support to the Financial Accounting team
  • Review and verify financial transactions
  • Liaise with providers and internal stakeholders for accommodation, catering and other bookings processes
  • Support the broader team with ad hoc administrative tasks

Profile

A successful Finance Admin Officer should have:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in an administrative or finance support role within Victorian Government
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Exposure to financial accounting and systems (SAP preferred)
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
