This role is classified as Level 2 role under SBS Australia's current Enterprise Agreement (with a base salary range of $68,239 - $89,139). The successful applicant will be offered remuneration that is commensurate with their skills and experience and in alignment with this framework.

The Department

The sales division at SBS Media drives revenue growth by identifying, pitching and managing advertising and sponsorship opportunities, builds strong agency and client relationships, and utilises insights and technology to commercialise opportunities - all in support of the wider SBS mission to serve Australia's diverse audiences.

The Role

As a NSW Digital Sales Executive, you will drive digital and programmatic revenue growth by building strategic agency and platform partnerships, championing SBS's BVOD and digital products, and leveraging insights to deliver innovative, high-performing advertising solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with the NSW sales team including Sales Executives, Group Sales Managers, and State Sales Manager, along with the National Digital Sales and Programmatic teams to achieve digital revenue targets.
  • Develop and manage strong relationships with agencies, SSPs, DSPs, and trading desks to optimise campaign performance and revenue outcomes
  • Articulate and commercialise SBS's BVOD offering, using market insights to inform go-to-market strategies and integrated sales proposals. 
  • Provide programmatic trading knowledge, analyse revenue and performance data, and support continuous improvement through training and innovation.

About you

We're looking for someone who brings:

  • Proven ability and 3-5 years' experience in providing effective digital trading and transaction.
  • Understanding and experience of digital and programmatic sales.
  • Established NSW digital and programmatic relationships.
  • Dynamic and results-oriented approach to excel at each stage of the sales process, and ability to meet set targets/outcomes in a deadline-driven sales environment.
  • Ability to create sales proposals using a variety of tools and software programs and have sound knowledge and understanding of the various media platforms within the digital landscape.
