Hankook Tyre Australia is currently looking for Business Development Executive for New South Wales region reporting to State Manager.

About the Job

The Business Development Executive is to execute the sales strategies and customer acquisition plans as directed by the State Manager within New South Wales. Managing the relationships between Hankook Tyre Australia and other tyre manufacturer stores, state-based buying groups, wholesalers, franchisors and independent retailers is a key function of this role.

The key responsibilities of this role

  • Executes NSW sales plans to achieve the sales budget results.
  • Executes planned initiatives to achieve overall territory growth within existing sales channels and customer categories.
  • Executes plans to open new sales channels as directed by State Manager.
  • Executes the sales plan to achieve sales targets and budgets across all designated sales channels.
  • Proactively identifying prospective new customers within each sales channel and initiating sales activities to convert to a Hankook Customer.
  • Responding in a timely manner to client queries, either verbally or in writing, as appropriate and ensuring that responses are accurate/correct and helpful.
  • Communicating new sales programs to customers to ensure Hankook maximize market opportunities.
  • Achieves monthly sales budgets within NSW as agreed with the State Manager.
  • Develops strategy/remedial actions to overcome variances in budget/forecast results.

About You

Skills & Qualifications

  • 3 Years minimum sales and account management experience.
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to identify new and emerging sales opportunities.
  • Customer-focused with the ability to form long-lasting relationships built on trust and professionalism.
  • Competitive and performance-driven. Commercial acumen / skilled negotiator.
  • Ability to self-motivate.
