Ready to Elevate Your Career? Become Field Technician Team Leader at Swoop
As our next the Field Technician Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the team in their relevant area of responsibility, along with installing Company network infrastructure on Swoop transmission sites, connecting end-user sites to the Swoop transmission sites, and performing maintenance where needed, thereby ensuring the best possible solution for our customers.
The role is based in Osborne Park, Western Australia.
Key Responsibilities

Consulting in the development and execution of complex site activities including site builds, site remediation, complex customer installations, etc.

Managing on-site installation, repair, maintenance and testing for all related areas of field operations, including but not limited to, installation and maintenance for; fixed wireless customer installs, fixed wireless transmissions site installs, changes to transmission site installs, customer service calls and data centre changes.

Producing detailed and accurate service reports in the correct Company systems.

Maintaining relevant certifications and competency of their team as required and on time.

Cooperating with technical teams and sharing information across the organisation.

Managing the servicing and upkeep of Swoop vehicles.

Assisting with warehousing and logistics to maintain relevant stock levels across the field teams.

Providing leadership, managing a team of direct reports effectively by setting appropriate goals, providing regular coaching and feedback, identifying development gaps, mentoring and leading by example whilst ensuring adequate communication across the team.
Your experience and qualifications
-
Previous experience leading a team of technicians or tradespeople.

Qualifications or previous experience working in a hands-on technical role.

Strong knowledge of WHS requirements, particularly controlling working at heights hazards

Proficient in using MS Office suite of products, experience in using ticketing, job scheduling and other IT systems.

Advanced attention to detail and accuracy skills.
