The Opportunity
As a Senior Manager, Transactions across our Retail portfolio, you will lead strategic acquisition and divestment activity, playing a key role in shaping investment outcomes and driving fund performance. This is strategically critical role requiring strong commercial acumen, stakeholder engagement, and end-to-end transaction leadership.
You will make an impact by:
- Leading transactions - Managing the full lifecycle of retail acquisitions and divestments, ensuring strategic alignment and seamless execution.
- Driving investment strategy - Shaping and implementing initiatives that enhance portfolio performance and create long-term value.
- Influencing stakeholders - Building trusted relationships with internal teams, investors, and external partners to support decision-making and deal success.
- Managing cross-functional projects - Coordinating teams and resources to deliver complex transactions on time and within budget.
- Enhancing capability - Contributing to process improvement, investment analysis, and the development of tools that support the broader Transactions team.
About You
To thrive in this senior leadership role, you will bring a strong blend of strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and stakeholder engagement. Your deep industry experience and ability to lead complex transactions across the retail portfolio will be key to driving performance and delivering value. Other requirements include:
- Tertiary degree in Property, Land Economics, Real Estate, Commerce or Business; postgraduate qualifications such as CA, CFA, MBA or Master of Applied Finance are highly regarded.
- 12+ years in property, private equity or related sectors, with a strong track record in transactions; retail asset experience is highly valued.
- Proven ability to lead teams, drive investment strategy, and foster a collaborative, high-performance culture.
- Strong Communication & Stakeholder Engagement - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence, present and negotiate across senior internal and external stakeholders.
- Advanced analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset to identify opportunities, solve problems and deliver value.
