Senior Corporate Lawyer, M+A transactions

Wolf & Williams have partnered with a well established, leading corporate legal services provider, who are looking to bring on an experienced senior level Corporate M+A lawyer to join their Sydney-based legal team, on an initial 3 to 6 month contract term, with strong potential to extend, or potentially go permanent.
About the Role
You'll work directly with the wider team, on a range of mid market mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, joint ventures, and restructures. You will closely partner withyour clients, providing quality legal support across a range of corporate transactions.
Key responsibilities include taking a lead role in managing all types of corporate transactions, serving as a key contact for your clients. This is a hands-on, transactional role, suited to someone who enjoys working autonomously within a collaborative team environment.
About You
You are a senior level corporate lawyer, with solid transactional experience gained either in a private practice or corporate in-house environment.
You'll bring:
- Strong commercial judgment and practical problem-solving ability;
- Demonstrated experience in corporate transactions;
- Confidence engaging with clients and delivering quality client service;
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills;
- Pragmatic, solutions focussed, able to balance legal risk with business priorities.
