Lone Star Rib House Townsville is all about good old-fashioned hospitality, mouth-watering food with a taste that's bigger than Texas, and a bold beverage menu that keeps our guests coming back for more. We're a high-energy, Texan-themed restaurant looking for a full-time Assistant Manager to join our leadership team and grow with us.

We're looking for someone who's already based permanently in Townsville and ready to take the next step in their hospitality career. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a leadership role with a clear pathway to General Manager in the coming months.


The Role
  • Support daily operations and assist in leading the front and back of house teams
  • Motivate, train and manage a high-performing crew
  • Deliver outstanding customer service with our signature Texan hospitality
  • Assist with rostering, shift supervision and team development
  • Maintain high standards of service, cleanliness and compliance with health and liquor regulations
  • Support stock management, purchasing and cost control
  • Help drive a strong team culture and a fun, safe working environment
  • Work closely with the General Manager and franchise leadership to uphold brand standards and local promotions

About You
  • A confident and hands-on leader with a passion for hospitality and people
  • Organised, proactive and capable in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communicator who leads by example
  • Ready to step up into full venue management in the near future
  • Already living permanently in Townsville
  • At least 2 years experience in a similar role

Requirements
  • Previous experience in a hospitality leadership or supervisory role
  • Strong communication, time management and problem-solving skills
  • Current RSA and Approved Manager's Licence (or willingness to obtain)
  • Solid understanding of OH&S and liquor compliance
