Your Role as an Electrical Fitter:

As a qualified Electrical Fitter at Decon Corporation, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing and production processes. You will utilise your expertise to assemble and wire electrical equipment, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety. This is an opportunity to contribute your skills to significant projects and work within a dynamic and growing organisation.

Your Responsibilities:

• Electrical Fitting Expertise: Assemble, wire, install busbar and a variety of electrical components and systems according to blueprints, schematics, and specifications.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough inspection of finished products to ensure compliance with relevant standards and quality requirements.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the Workshop Manager/Supervisor and other team members to achieve production goals.
• Effective Communication: Maintain clear and regular communication regarding project status, technical issues, and workplace matters.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to workplace health and safety policies and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
• Documentation Accuracy: Complete all necessary documentation, including work orders, test reports, and timesheets, accurately and in a timely manner.
• Stakeholder Interaction: Communicate professionally with internal and external stakeholders as required.
• Flexibility: Demonstrate a willingness to work flexible hours to meet project demands when necessary.
• Computer Literacy: Possess sound basic computer skills for accessing information and completing documentation.

• Proven Experience: Demonstrated experience as a qualified Electrical Fitter, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong ability to interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic abilities.
• Commitment to Quality: A strong focus on producing high-quality workmanship and attention to detail.
