About the Team  
SafeWork NSW is the state's workplace health and safety
regulator.  
This role offers an exciting opportunity to join the
Regulatory Capability and Engagement Directorate at SafeWork NSW. The
Directorate includes four specialist harm prevention teams, and this role sits
within the Psychosocial Programs and Return to Work Team. 
 
The Directorate has a range of diverse functions including leading the state's
strategic approach towards psychological health and safety, return to work, the
Respect at Work Taskforce, healthcare and social care assistance sector and
small business rebates. 
 
Working closely with other specialist and generalist SafeWork NSW teams, the
Directorate is focused on raising awareness, uplifting workplace capability and
supporting appropriate enforcement action under NSW work, health and safety
laws. 
We are seeking a motivated Regulatory Service Officer to
deliver high quality administrative support to the Psychosocial Programs and
Return to Work team, across a broad range of interesting and diverse tasks that
enable improved service delivery and support to priority regulatory
initiatives.

 Your responsibilities will include:

  •  Providing
    administrative support to the manager, inspectors and project teams such
    as preparing meeting agendas and taking minutes, processing inspector
    motor vehicle run sheets, and maintaining the team's SharePoint page. 
  •  Supporting
    the coordination of events, information sessions and workshops. 
  •  Developing
    internal and external communications to a wide range of stakeholders. 
  •  Maintaining
    accurate records, ensuring current and relevant information is available
    and relevant policies, procedures, confidentiality and privacy
    requirements are met. 
  •  Assisting
    with purchasing functions such as ordering equipment and processing of
    invoices using SAP. 

 
About you: 

  •  Experience
    in providing a variety of administrative support services with competing
    priorities and be capable of working independently and without direction. 
  •  Demonstrates
    discretion and confidentiality and have a proven high level of attention
    to detail. 
  •  Excellent
    communication and relationship building skills and the ability to work
    with a variety of internal and external stakeholders. 
  •  Experiences
    in using a range of Microsoft applications. 
  •  Demonstrates
    a commitment to providing outstanding customer service. 
  •  Organised
    and adaptable to changing priorities.
