Our growing consultancy is seeking a versatile and proactive individual to support across bookkeeping, administrative, and digital marketing functions. This role primarily involves managingaccounts payable and receivable using Xero, but also includes responsibilities as a exec assistant and social media marketer to help streamline operations and enhance our online presence.

Key Responsibilities:

Bookkeeping (Primary Focus):

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Use Xero software for all bookkeeping tasks.
  • Reconcile bank transactions and maintain up-to-date financial records.
  • Provide input on monthly financial statements and assist with tax preparation when needed.

Executive Assistant Duties:

  • Coordinate calendar appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements.
  • Assist with email and communication management.
  • Perform general administrative tasks to support day-to-day operations.
  • Help manage personal errands or scheduling as needed.

Social Media Marketing:

  • Plan, schedule, and post content to business social media platforms.
  • Monitor engagement and respond to messages or comments professionally.
  • Assist with basic content creation or coordination with designers/copywriters.
  • Track performance metrics and suggest improvements to enhance brand visibility.

Ideal Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in small business bookkeeping with strong Xero proficiency.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Familiarity with accounts payable and receivable processes.
  • Experience managing calendars and professional communications.
  • Understanding of basic social media marketing principles and tools (e.g., Canva, Buffer, Meta Business Suite).
  • High attention to detail, reliability, and a can-do attitude.

This is a flexible, part-time opportunity starting with a few hours per week with potential for growth as the business expands. If you're a proactive self-starter who enjoys wearing multiple hats, we'd love to hear from you.
