About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Lead innovation and health service delivery reform through the development of health service strategies, clinical service plans, and inclusive consumer and community engagement that will establish Metro North as a recognised leader in the provision and delivery of state-of-the-art health services.
- Collaborate closely with the Executive Director, Sustainable Assets & Infrastructure to provide strategic planning services and workforce components to large-scale and targeted organisation-wide infrastructure and planning projects. This will incorporate proactive and innovative solutions to address service challenges and contribute successfully to Metro North Health's overall strategy and vision.
- Deliver foundations supported by evidence and agreed partnership arrangements that provide transparency, accountability, and progress outcomes for clinical change.
- Establish and maintain collaborative business relationships and partnerships with a range of internal and external stakeholders. This includes national and international industry partners, State and Commonwealth government agencies, community groups, service providers, education and research bodies, staff, clinicians, clients/consumers to ensure Metro North Health's activities are integrated, productive, and opportunities to leverage and share are fully exploited.
- It is desirable that the successful applicant possesses experience relevant to business strategy and development in the context of Hospitals and Health Services.
