Are you our new Customer Service Officer?  Someone who is passionate about people, driven by purpose, and enthusiastic. Applications are now being taken from interested persons for this 12-month contract position.

In this front-line role, you'll be the first point of contact for residents, visitors, and businesses—providing exceptional service, accurate information, and a warm smile. If you love working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where no two days are the same, we want to hear from you

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Ensure customer enquiries and complaints are handled professionally in a pleasant, courteous and efficient manner at all times.
  2. Provide Council's office cashiering function, ensuring payments presented are accurately recorded and receipted.
  3. Regularly liaise with other customer service officers (across both Council offices), as well as other Council departments, to ensure consistent customer communications.
  4. Ensure bookings for Council facilities are accurate and insurance details are obtained in accordance with Council procedures.
  5. Ensure administrative tasks are performed accurately and efficiently.

Benefits:

  • Salary range $1,230.20 to $1,439.10 gross per week
  • 9-day fortnight
  • 12% superannuation.
