About you:

Are you a strategic, hands-on finance leader looking for an exciting challenge? We are seeking a Head of Finance to take ownership of our finance function and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our business during a time of transformation and growth. This is a rare opportunity to roll up your sleeves and make a real impact while working closely with senior leadership.

The ideal candidate will be CA or CPA qualified with extensive experience in senior finance roles. A strong understanding of Australian accounting standards and prior exposure to beauty, FMCG, or a similar fast-paced industry is essential. Familiarity with both traditional and e-commerce business models is critical.

Key Responsibilities:


• Partner with the CEO and SLT (Senior Leadership Team) to provide strategic financial leadership and insights


• Drive financial controls, compliance, and process improvements


• Support the finance function to manage high transaction volumes and ensure operational efficiency in AP and AR processes


• Deliver accurate, transparent reporting to support informed decision-making


• Lead and mentor a team both onshore and offshore


• Design, implement, and refine financial policies, procedures, and structures to ensure the finance function operates efficiently and aligns with business goals


• Develop actionable strategies to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities


• Identify and evaluate financial risks and opportunities, developing strategies to mitigate risks and capitalize on growth opportunities


• Own special projects, including supporting our new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)


• Balance strategic vision with hands on execution

• 10+ years' experience in finance leadership roles


• CA/CPA qualifications and strong compliance expertise


• A hands-on, entrepreneurial approach


• Proven ability to engage and influence stakeholders


• Excellent mentorship, communication, and problem-solving skills
