Job Description

Occupational Therapist Grade 3

  • 0.6 FTE | Maternity leave cover until October 2026
  • Based in Ferntree Gully on the lands of the Wurundjeri & Boon Wurrung Peoples
  • From $60.68 per hour + 12% Super + Generous Salary Packaging benefits of up to $18,550

Make a meaningful impact in community care

We support clients to stay active and independent through tailored exercise and therapy programs, including group classes, pain management, and wellbeing support—delivered in-centre, at home, in the community, or online.

Your role, your impact

As a senior Occupational Therapist, you'll lead with purpose—providing clinical supervision, mentoring, and support to other clinicians and students, while managing your own caseload. You'll help shape service delivery through evidence-based practice, clinical governance, and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead and supervise clinicians and support staff to ensure safe and effective service delivery
  • Manage your own caseload and support allocation across the team
  • Provide secondary consultation for complex cases and contribute to clinical audits
  • Support student placements and contribute to teaching and supervision
  • Participate in clinical governance and performance reviews
  • Promote best practice by reviewing guidelines and integrating evidence-based care

Who we're looking for

  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and current AHPRA registration
  • Certificate in Level 2 First Aid and NDIS screening check
  • Current driver's license
  • High level of clinical expertise in community-based settings
  • Experience supervising staff and students
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to quality improvement and professional development
