Job Description

Not your average BA role we are looking for someone that thrives on a challenge, that understands in a fast growth company a Job Spec is about as useful as sand in a desert. We need an individual who can, forecast stock requirements one day and the next day manage the margin analysis with a new distributor in the UAE.

We have a Café and food services business as well as 300+ Restaurants in Hong Kong a Warehouses in Melbourne / Sydney / Brisbane / Hong Kong / China / Singapore plus a national / international sales team.

Key Responsibilities if you need them here they are

Inventory & Stock Management

Monitor and optimise inventory levels to avoid stockouts or overstock

Lock in production schedules to match demand and shelf life

Track best-before dates and flag products that need to move

Advise sales and marketing teams when stock is heavy and needs support

Costing & Margin Analysis

Maintain and update Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) across SKUs

Calculate margins across channels: wholesale, distributor, DTC, export

Model pricing scenarios and promo offers with margin sensitivity

Prepare product costing for overseas indent orders and new launches

Sales Performance & Commercial Insights

Analyse sales by account, region, and SKU to identify growth opportunities

Track and report on sales team KPIs for management visibility

Prepare reports that translate data into commercial strategy

Share insights with sales/marketing to support account-level performance

Finance, Admin & Compliance

Issue invoices, chase purchase orders, follow up on payments

Work with CFO to prepare monthly finance reports

Ensure ERP (Odoo) system compliance across all departments

Train sales and new staff on correct system use

Qualifications we are looking for the right cultural fit, personality & attitude is everything

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Something where you are great with numbers. You don't need to be Stephen Hawkins good but pretty good will do.

2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the beverage or consumer goods industry. Ideally if you have not changed jobs every 2 months

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of the FMCG industry trends and market dynamics is a plus.
