ICT Business Analyst

Location: Adelaide SA 5000

Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary Range: $80,000 – $90,000 per annum super

Reports To: CEO / IT Manager

Industry: Education & Training (Registered Training Organisation)

About the Role

Sunbeam International College is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical ICT Business Analyst to support and enhance our operational efficiency through smart ICT solutions. Based at our Adelaide campus, this full-time role is ideal for someone with strong system analysis capabilities and a passion for driving process improvements in an educational environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with stakeholders to gather and document detailed business requirements.

  • Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses of proposed ICT solutions.

  • Translate business needs into functional and technical system specifications.

  • Collaborate with developers for system design, integration, and deployment.

  • Assist with configuration, testing, and implementation of new systems.

  • Provide ongoing technical support to staff and students.

  • Identify inefficiencies in existing systems and recommend improvements.

  • Develop and maintain clear documentation including workflows, manuals, and procedures.

  • Create analytical reports, dashboards, and visualisations for data-driven decision making.

  • Conduct training sessions and act as the first point of contact for system-related queries.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Information Technology (System Analysis).

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the ICT or education sector.

  • Strong understanding of business processes and ICT systems.

  • Proficient in data analysis, system testing, and technical documentation.

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills.

  • Proven ability to manage ICT projects and meet deadlines.

Additional Information

  • Full-time role: 38 hours per week.
