The Role
The IT Support Analyst is responsible for providing first, second and administrative level IT support on information technology services, business and applications systems and their associated peripherals across Brisbane and remotely to Sydney. Working in this role, you will form an integral part of the firm's dynamic IT team and the broader business support services division.
Key duties will include:
- Providing helpful and responsive IT support and associated administrative duties for business applications and systems across hardware, collaboration, telephony and mobility platforms;
- Proactively assisting in supporting, responding to and resolving business applications systems issues in a timely manner;
- Effectively managing all aspects of user access, associated controls and processes including onboarding, provisioning, ongoing support, updating, securing and decommissioning;
- Effectively managing all aspects of the firm's IT assets and its associated administrative processes and controls to ensure they are registered, provisioned, maintained, updated, secured and working optimally;
- Ensuring all IT led initiatives, implementations and upgrades as directed are completed in a timely manner;
- Assisting with covering daily rostering tasks, end user onboarding and offboarding processes, collection and maintenance of IT equipment, managing and updating application updates and patches along with managing daily vulnerability reporting and remediation; and
- Proactively assisting in the development, support and ongoing improvements to IT solutions, administration, processes, policies and documentation.
Skills and Experience
As the successful candidate, you will have three years of experience working in a similar role within a corporate environment. Your attributes will include strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, coupled with a genuine customer service focus and solid written and verbal communication skills.
You will be able to effectively manage competing priorities whilst maintaining quality and attention to detail. Additionally, you will conduct yourself in a professional and courteous manner, undertaking work promptly. Furthermore, you will be trustworthy, reliable and responsive, whilst striving for continuous improvement and contributing to a positive team environment.
Required Technical Skills
- Prior experience in managing and supporting Microsoft Active Directory, Windows Operating Systems, desktops, laptops, printers and associated Standard Operating Environment (SOE) environments, including Intune End Point Management Systems and Entra environment;
- Intermediate to advanced experience in managing and supporting the M365 Office Suite;
- Experience in application packaging and deployments using Intune and PowerShell or Power Automate platforms;
- Experience with managing and supporting mobile devices in a corporate environment;
- Experiencing managing and supporting Cisco Telephony and Audio-Visual equipment including, Webex Meetings, Webex Room Devices and Microsoft Teams platforms.
