Position: Asbestos Assessor (Full-Time)

BT Enviro is a trusted family-owned business based in Port Adelaide that is growing quickly. We specialise in the identification, assessment and management of hazardous materials, in particular asbestos. The role is predominantly field-based working on remediation projects within Adelaide with the occasional regional work.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a small family owned busniess We provide comprehensive on-the-job training and are committed to helping you grow professionally.

Experience/qualifications as an Asbestos Assessor or close to completing the required hours.

What You Will Do:

  • Conduct airborne fibre monitoring and asbestos sampling in various environments.
  • Undertake visual clearance inspections following asbestos remediation.
  • Conduct laboratory sample analysis and results.
  • Conduct surveys/inspections for the presence of asbestos/hazardous building materials.
  • Prepare and review technical reports, building registers and management plans.

Who We Are Looking For:

  • Must possess a valid driver's license and have access to a vehicle.
  • Must have a mobile phone with the ability to make and receive calls.
  • Strong written/verbal communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Availability to work flexible hours including some weekends and out of hours work.

· Ability to undertake field work, sometimes at remote sites, with minimal supervision.
