Our client is a nationally accredited RTO in South Australia with 40 years of experience providing high-quality education and training to students. As a registered training organization (RTO) approved by the Australian Government, they offer a variety of on-site and external training opportunities in the industry, including placements at top venues throughout Australia.

**The Role**
Our client is looking for a Carpentry Trainer and Assessor to join their team to deliver classroom and practical face-to-face training to an international cohort at their Adelaide Campus in Woodville Park, SA.

Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Trainer and Assessor to deliver the CPC30220 - Certificate III in Carpentry.

Open to full-time or part-time (2 to 3 days per week, 2 days minimum), with an immediate start.
- Deliver training and assessment to students enrolled in Certificate III Carpentry through various delivery modes, including classroom, workshop and online
- Regular audits of workshop resources, completing monthly PPE resource orders and ensuring all workshop equipment is maintained.
- Development and enhancement of learning and assessment material
- Ensure all materials, assessment plans, and assessment tools are current, sufficient, valid and reliable
- Participate in assessment review meetings for the review, comparison and evaluation of assessment processes, tools and evidence against competency standards
- Accurately maintain records of student progress and assessment
- Liaise with the industry to assess current needs and ensure best practices.
- CPC30211/CPC30220 - Certificate III in Carpentry
- TAE40116 - Certificate IV in Training & Assessment
- Experience teaching in the VET sector or current industry experience
- Understanding of RTO operational and legislative requirements
- A current Working With Children Certificate (or willing to obtain one)
- A current driver's license
