At NAB, it's all about our people reaching their full potential. In continuing our drive to achieve success in our market leading Corporate and Institutional Banking team, we are seeking a Director to lead our Natural Resources and Asset Finance and Leasing (AF&L) CME team.

Corporate Finance is responsible for all financing activity in Corporate & Institutional Bank (C&IB). We manage the balance sheet for C&IB, providing financing solutions for our customers in multiple sectors. Our Client Management & Execution (CME) Team partner Client Coverage and Product Specialist teams with the aim of driving business growth and efficiently delivering an excellent experience for clients.

In the role of Director, you will join the Client Management & Execution team that's doubling down on customer obsession

Each day, you'll go above and beyond to:

  • Utilise your skills as an experienced people leader
  • Manage the deal flow and workload across multiple sectors, working closely with key stakeholders and partners to deliver excellent client outcomes
  • Step up as a leader within the broader CME business, to help drive and deliver change and adoption of new tools & processes
  • Act as a critical member of the FSA CME Leadership team

We're looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You'll need:

  • Track record of strong leadership, with the ability to bring together two teams, coaching and mentoring

  • A proven background in transaction structuring and legal documentation

  • Expertise in reviewing credit submissions & financial modelling, where required, and make recommendations on transactions to senior management and Credit

  • Ability to exercise your DCA - making sound Business decisions in line with your approved authorities

  • Agility to oversee workflow management between key stakeholders

  • Role modelling behaviours in order to coach and mentor your team
