Your new role:
As the Clinical Nurse Consultant – Emergency Department Data Optimisation, you'll provide advanced clinical leadership and expertise to enhance data quality, operational efficiency, and funding outcomes across the Emergency Department. You'll lead a specialised team and work closely with clinical and operational stakeholders to drive performance excellence by:
- Providing expert consultancy on Emergency Department models of care, KPIs, and data reporting.
- Leading and mentoring the ED Data Optimisation team to ensure accuracy and integrity of clinical data.
- Identifying and implementing Activity Based Funding (ABF) optimisation opportunities.
- Leveraging your expertise in ieMR (FirstNet), data analysis and reporting to enhance operational outcomes.
- Supporting continuous improvement, education, and innovation within a multidisciplinary clinical environment.
About you:
You'll bring advanced clinical and technical expertise in Emergency Nursing, coupled with strong leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills. You will succeed in this role with:
- Extensive experience in Emergency Department nursing and data optimisation processes.
- Advanced proficiency in ieMR (FirstNet) and understanding of clinical coding and data analysis.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Activity Based Funding (ABF) and quality improvement frameworks.
- Strong communication, mentoring and team leadership capabilities.
- A commitment to evidence-based practice, innovation and patient-centred care.
