Kingfisher Bay Resort is the premiere eco accommodation on World Heritage-listed K'gari (Fraser Island). Nestled amongst tree-covered dunes along the calm waters of the Great Sandy Strait, it is the perfect base for exploration. Discover the island's native surroundings with endless beaches, pristine freshwater lakes, lush rainforests, and a spectacular range of wildlife. This 152-room resort features four outdoor pools, three restaurants, five bars, and a variety of nature-based activities, walks, and 4WD explorer tours.

About the Role

Bring your passion for providing exceptional customer experiences to Kingfisher Bay Resort As a Resort Porter, you will be responsible for exceeding guest needs and service expectations, ensuring the efficient pick-up and delivery of guest luggage, and supporting the Front Office team with guest-related administration as required. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high level of customer service, initiative, and the ability to handle the physically demanding nature of the role. This is a permanent part-time position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight. The successful candidate is available for an immediate start and must be able to relocate to the island for this "live-on" position.

Skills, Qualifications & Experience

• Committed to delivering brilliant customer experiences
• Physically fit due to the manual labour involved, including lifting, loading, and unloading suitcases into luggage trucks
• Motivated with a good attitude and the ability to work effectively within a team
• Experience in a similar role, such as a hotel/resort Porter (highly regarded)
• Hold a valid manual Driver's License

If you are looking to do your regional 88 days remote work to extend your visa, it is important to note that we DO NOT qualify for this program due to our location.
